Amanda Manker
I work with young adults who are trying to find their footing and better understand themselves during life transitions. They may be starting college, managing academic and social stress, figuring out life after graduation, navigating a breakup, or simply wondering, “What am I doing with my life?” Even exciting transitions can bring up anxiety, self-doubt, grief, and big questions about identity, relationships, and what comes next.
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#142462) practicing under the supervision of Gregory Gooden, LMFT (#110967). My approach to therapy is grounded in attachment-based, cognitive behavioral (CBT), person-centered, and trauma-informed practices. I have received specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Restoration Therapy.
I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel genuinely understood and supported while making sense of their experiences and getting curious about what they need. My hope is to help clients feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected to the person they want to be.
