Prior to private practice, I worked in college counseling for three years. My style as a therapist is to provide much warmth, curiosity, compassion, and humor to help each client engage in a productive way of understanding themselves and their mental functioning. I take a holistic approach that encompasses the mind and the body. Although I work with many presenting concerns, I have noticed a commonality of how people are self-critical and subsequently experience declines in their mental health and relationships. I work with each client to develop self-awareness and coping skills to help decrease their mental health distress.
Thank you so much for taking the time to explore my practice. My emphasis is on young adults who struggle with social, emotional, behavioral difficulties and relationship issues. These struggles include depression, low self-esteem, self-injury, anxiety, peer pressure, family difficulties, friend and peer difficulties, bullying, substance use, or academic achievement challenges. I also enjoy working with student athletes. I am committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment without judgment or assumption. My relaxed and inviting approach allows me to focus on my clients current needs and create realistic goals. I strive to ensure you are getting what you need out of our time together.
We are a group practice specializing in trauma and EMDR. We also specialize in perinatal mental health, collaborative behavioral assessment, and neurofeedback. We believe that finding the right fit in a therapist is instrumental in having a successful therapeutic experience and because we have such a wonderful varied staff, we are able to serve people to suit individual needs.
I love working with college students and young adults, helping them identify their values, where they're getting stuck, and how to go after the things they want. I specialize in working with adults with anxiety disorders including Generalized Anxiety, OCD, Social Anxiety, Panic attacks, and specific fears. I help clients overcome their anxiety by approaching, rather than avoiding, their anxiety and anxiety-provoking situations, learning tools and gaining confidence along the way. This can sound scary at first, but the more you do it, the easier it gets.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for supporting teens, and young adults. I create a safe, welcoming space where clients can explore their feelings, build coping skills, and discover their strengths. My approach is collaborative and focused on helping each person find tools that truly work for them. My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to be heard and to explore their feelings without judgment. I draw from evidence-based practices to help clients build healthy coping skills, manage challenges, and feel more confident in their daily lives. Most importantly, I encourage clients to have a voice in their therapy so that we work together in a way that feels right for them.
We all hold the inner knowledge of what is best for our lives but sometimes need a gentle guide to help us find our path. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space where you will feel comfortable expressing difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences, whether that be through traditional talk therapy, EMDR, psychedelic assisted therapy, or ketamine assisted EMDR. Trauma is not always what happened to you but sometimes what did not happen, such as physical or emotional neglect.

As an experienced, compassionate clinician specializing in liberation psychology, my work centers on helping people from all backgrounds navigate complex trauma and the very real weight of systemic and interpersonal oppression. While I have a particular focus on supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults from underserved and disenfranchised communities, my door is open to anyone ready to do this work. Transparent, empathetic communication is at the heart of how I connect with the people I work with. Genuine connection matters to me and, together, we'll explore both the past and the future in a space built on trust and honesty. My passion lies in liberation from both personal trauma and systems that perpetuate harm. By taking a patient-centered and collaborative approach centered in collective action, I create the calm and intentional environment that allows you to achieve just that. Together, we'll move through experiences of intense trauma and symptoms of struggle in a way that’s tailored to your unique understanding, experiences, and needs. We accomplish this through psychoeducation paired with somatic and cognitive engagement, with a particular specialization in body-focused healing. Whatever we work through, my style stays gently direct and centered on the best path forward for you. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own mental health experiences and the journey I’ve taken to find my way through them. That path deepened my commitment to patient-centered care rooted in reclaiming a sense of control and agency. Bringing my own humanness into each session isn't something I shy away from; it's something I believe makes the work more real, more honest, and more meaningful for you. Skiing, rock climbing, and good company with even better friends are some of my favorite ways to recharge. A love of video games and coffee keeps things interesting, and growing up on the coast left me with a deep connection to the ocean that never quite fades.
As a strength-based, relational Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) specializing in interpersonal, mental, and physical trauma for adults, I help you navigate challenges in communication, advocate for your needs, and grieve how trauma has altered your life, often without your consent. My approach centers on nuanced, culture-specific intervention so you can build safety and stability. Trauma work is a particular focus of mine, and I also have a passion for working with people who have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Accountability and autonomy are things I believe in deeply, and they shape how I show up for you as your therapist. I look forward to collaborating with you and creating safety in our work together. Establishing a safe, nonjudgmental space to create connection is where my approach begins. You can expect an honest, calm environment as we work together, as I am passionate about how our brains and bodies work to keep us safe, even when that instinct doesn’t always serve us in the way we need. I use person-centered therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as my main methods, helping you create comfort and stability within yourself, accept what you cannot change, and take ownership of what you can influence. My style is adaptive, and I tailor my approach to your unique experiences and needs. My path to becoming a therapist began with a desire to build my emotional intelligence and challenge my internalized biases, trauma, and feelings of inauthenticity. During my journey of self-discovery, I fell in love with psychology, the human brain, and providing a safe space for others to rediscover their own internal sense of self-worth and value. This love developed even further after my own diagnosis of OCD, which greatly impacted my ability to be present in my own life, and after meeting several professionals who met my anxiety and distress head-on while still being compassionate and kind. These experiences deepened my desire to provide evidence-based care rooted in unflinching understanding. I blend science and empathy into each session, offering reasons why humans act the way they do alongside compassion for how distressing this can feel, especially when autonomy has been stripped away by others, life, or a mental health diagnosis of their own. I love reading, playing video games, and spending time with my puppy. I also enjoy growing flowering plants and painting my nails, two hobbies that don't always mix well, plus crocheting whenever I have the time.

Amanda’s career began working as a psychiatric nurse on the inpatient unit at Denver Health. While at Denver Health she worked with children, adolescents and adults who were in acute crisis, needing assistance with emotional and behavioral needs. In addition, Amanda has worked in home health, providing psychiatric care in the patient’s home which allowed for a smooth transition from the hospital. Amanda provides integrative care, working with the patient’s health care provider and therapist. She believes in a holistic treatment approach to provide optimal health and overall wellness, and she practices evidence-based treatment. Amanda believes medication plays an important role in wellness and mental health. Her treatment goals include providing improved quality of life and she is eager to work with patients who are motivated to make personal changes. “It is important to me to develop a therapeutic relationship with my patients to provide the best care. I respect and encourage my patients to be involved in their treatment as I feel this provides the best outcome for the patient. Being a mom, I understand the importance of working with not just the patient, but also with the family to provide the best care. I enjoy working in the out-patient setting, for it allows me to see long-term improvements in wellness and mental health”
Healing and growth takes place in the context of relationships - in our relationship with ourselves, and in our relationships with others. Unfortunately, our relationships can sometimes become distant, disconnected and a place of conflict, leaving us with unmet needs and just feeling “stuck.” We don’t feel safe asking for what we need, and maybe don’t even know what we need ourselves. The therapeutic relationship in counseling provides an authentic and safe place in which healing can begin to take place. My goal is to provide you with a space where you feel seen and heard; where you feel safe to explore your story and your experiences; a space where you can work through some of the hard things in a way that moves you towards a deeper sense of wholeness and connection. If you'd like to find out if this is a good place for you to address some of these things for yourself, reach out and we can schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if it would be a good fit!

School is more than an academic challenge. It's often a time when long-standing patterns in relationships, identity, and self-expectations become impossible to ignore. You may find yourself constantly meeting others' expectations, questioning your own decisions, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling responsible for keeping the peace in your relationships while losing sight of what you need. My practice is dedicated to helping students understand how these patterns developed and why they may no longer serve them. Together, we'll explore the ways you've learned to relate to yourself and others, strengthen your sense of self, and help you develop the confidence to make choices that reflect your values rather than guilt, fear, or the expectations of others. You don't have to choose between caring about the people in your life and caring for yourself. My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in genuine curiosity about your unique story. Whether you're navigating academic pressure, relationship challenges, family expectations, or major life transitions, therapy offers a space to better understand yourself, build self-trust, and create relationships that support both connection and authenticity.
I am a social work intern with a particular interest in supporting people who have experienced trauma and are navigating grief, loss, death and dying, or terminal illness. In our work together, I hope to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can process difficult experiences, make meaning of what you're going through, and identify ways to move forward that align with your values and needs. I value working collaboratively with patients who are open to exploring their experiences and engaging in the therapeutic process at a pace that feels right for them. Curiosity and openness are important to how I approach my work, which is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll discover what matters to you and identify goals that feel meaningful and right for you. Working together, you can expect a compassionate, accepting, and nonjudgmental environment that incorporates trauma-informed and somatic approaches to help you explore past experiences, connect with your emotions and bodily experiences, build self-understanding, and identify ways to move forward. Ensuring you feel heard and where your feedback helps guide our work, as does a warm, curious, and responsive style focused on your unique goals and needs. My path toward becoming a therapist was shaped by supporting people close to me as they faced terminal illness. During those experiences, I learned the value of simply being present and offering care, compassion, and space for someone's feelings without trying to fix what couldn’t be fixed. I also discovered an ability to stay grounded alongside others during painful moments while honoring that their experience was their own. This has deepened my commitment to providing a warm, accepting, and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and less alone as you navigate life's challenges. When I'm not working, I enjoy yoga, biking, taking long walks, skiing, and reading. I'm also an aspiring stand-up comedian and appreciate the connection and perspective that humor can bring. As a lifelong learner, I'm continually curious about new ideas, and am especially interested in exploring Buddhism and its teachings on mindfulness and compassion.
People come to therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. Our role is to offer clarity, grounded perspective, and compassionate support, with space for humor when it helps. We focus on helping clients address what is happening now while building skills they can rely on long after therapy ends.
Healing is rarely a straight path, and having the right support can make all the difference. As a mental health therapist, my work centers on helping adults 18 and older from diverse backgrounds navigate the ways mental health shapes their personal, professional, and social lives, whether that means managing everyday stress or working through more complex challenges. My commitment is to meet you exactly where you are, as a collaborative partner on your therapeutic journey, to help you build the tools and insight needed to move forward. Together, we'll work toward the clarity, resilience, and hope you deserve. Compassionate, humorous, and guided by you — that's the foundation of how I show up for every person I work with. I believe deeply in the healing power of human connection, and getting to witness that unfold in practice is what drives me. At all times, you can expect a nonjudgmental space where laughter is always welcome alongside the harder conversations. My style is empathetic and adaptive, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness-based approaches to strengthen your sense of well-being across all areas of life. Your unique goals, experiences, and needs shape the direction of our work together, because the most meaningful progress happens when care is truly tailored to you. My path to becoming a therapist began with first being a patient myself. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support and the profound impact attentive, caring treatment can have on a person's life. Today, that lived experience informs every session I offer. Alongside my clinical training, it grounds me in empathy and authentic presence, and I'm just as eager to learn from your story as I am to share the tools that may help you write the next chapter. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me recharging through creative and outdoor pursuits. Drawing and painting offer a meditative outlet, while fishing and archery bring a welcome sense of patience and focus. Reading keeps my curiosity alive, and regular walks help me stay grounded, a practice I find just as valuable in everyday life as in the work we do together.
Hi there! I work with people who come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, but often because they want to feel better about who they are. Maybe you feel alone or like you're not sure where you're going in life, or your family isn't what you wish it was. As a a therapist, I like to help people look beneath the surface, beyond the symptoms, and understand what’s really going on. Why *do* you get anxious? Why does it feel like something’s missing? Maybe you know what you should do, but you just can’t seem to bring yourself to do it. Getting a better understanding of how your life has shaped who you are today can help make some of those things feel less confusing—and sometimes make change feel a little more possible. I have a particular soft spot for working with people who feel alone or different in some kind of way. While I may or may not have lived through the same things, I work hard to make therapy feel like a place where you can share those parts of yourself and maybe feel a little less alone. Before going into therapy, I spent over a decade working in tech, doing data analytics and software engineering at both big corporations and startups. This gives me a unique perspective on what post-college life might look like, as well as an appreciation for some of the challenges tech poses for people just starting their careers.
