Ultimately, I want to help you create a life where you are truly thriving. I am passionate about supporting my clients in moving toward goals that will lead to increased fulfillment and overall well-being. As someone who’s always loved the creative process and felt deeply attuned to the inner world, I believe that our emotions and sensations carry important messages. They can guide us toward understanding ourselves, healing, and finding balance — especially in a college environment where it’s easy to get caught up in expectations, pressure, and constant thinking. When we disconnect from how we feel in order to “get things done,” it can lead to burnout, anxiety, or a sense of numbness. In our work together, we’ll take time to slow down and reconnect — using somatic (body-based) techniques, art-making, mindfulness, and personal reflection to help you better understand what’s happening inside. This process can be especially meaningful if you’re exploring identity, navigating relationships, managing stress, or living with neurodivergence. I support students who are dealing with anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, perfectionism, or who simply feel “different” or overwhelmed by the world. My approach is grounded in the belief that you already hold the wisdom and insight you need — my role is to help you access it with curiosity and compassion. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University. I’m also an artist, yoga teacher, and trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). In sessions, I integrate talk therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, KAP work, and somatic practices to create a collaborative space for exploration, growth, and self-discovery. If you’re curious about working together or just want to learn more, I’d love to connect.
I provide care to older teens and adults looking for compassionate support as they navigate stress, relationships, the impact of trauma, and/or identity exploration. I use a collaborative approach with my clients help folks navigate the complex systems in our society (school, work, family, capitalism, healthcare, etc.) and explore the impact of these institutions on their wellbeing. I am passionate about helping others deepen their self-awareness, relationships with others, and understanding of their place in this world. As a clinical social worker with over a decade of experience providing individual and family care, my practice is grounded in anti-oppression and liberation philosophies. I specialize in trauma-informed care for LGBTQ+ individuals, helping folks recognize and build upon their strengths to develop a treatment plan that works for them based on their goals. I invite you to reach out for a consultation call for us to discuss what brings you to therapy and determine together if I may be the right fit for you at this time. My goal as a clinician is to lend support to others as they identify and work toward goals in an empowering, caring and affirming environment. I hope to hear from you soon!

College can be an exciting time, but it can also bring new pressures, uncertainty, and challenges. I work with college students and young adults who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, academic difficulties, life transitions, and questions about identity and belonging. Whether you are struggling to keep up with the demands of school, wondering if ADHD or autism may be affecting your life, adjusting to greater independence, or exploring your gender or other aspects of your identity, I provide a thoughtful and affirming space to better understand what is happening and what may help. My approach begins with listening. I take the time to understand you as a whole person rather than rushing to a diagnosis or treatment plan. Depending on your needs, I offer comprehensive psychiatric assessment, therapy, medication management, and adult autism evaluations. Together, we can develop a plan that supports both your mental health and your goals for the future.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by academic pressures, going through a painful break-up, or struggling with making new friends or fitting in? Is FOMO taking over and making it difficult to commit or to be present with whatever you are doing? Is social media making you feel inadequate? Maybe your college experience thus far has been different or disappointing from what you had hoped it would be. I specialize in working with the college student population. I have considerable experience working with your age group, both in my private practice and, previously, at CU’s counseling center. My approach focuses on relieving and repairing core personal issues through the exploration of ways your past experiences are impacting your current relationships and behavior; by helping you understand your inner thought processes; and by learning new and effective ways of making positive changes. My primary goal is to help you achieve your full potential so that your college or graduate experience is one that is fulfilling and meaningful. You may feel stuck, but things can change…. there is hope! Please call, email or schedudle an appointment directly on my website.
I work best with students who are used to performing under pressure: student-athletes, performers, pre-med and nursing majors, ROTC and military-affiliated students, and anyone else whose schedule doesn't leave much room to fall apart, even when they need to. A lot of my clients are running on adrenaline most of the semester, replaying conversations at 2 am, or have gotten so used to pushing through that they've stopped feeling much of anything. Many have already tried talking to someone before. They can explain exactly what's stressing them out, sometimes perfectly, and it still hasn't changed how they feel or act. That gap between understanding a problem and actually feeling different is where I focus. I don't rely only on talking things through. When conversation alone isn't working, or just isn't your thing, I use other approaches that work with what's actually happening in your body and your reactions, not just the story you tell about it. I also think there's real room for humor here: being able to laugh at a hard moment can loosen its grip in a way taking everything seriously never does. You don't need to have the perfect way to explain what's going on, or even know exactly where to start. I'm licensed in Colorado and California. If any of this sounds like your semester, I'd like to hear from you.
Unhelpful patterns and disconnection in relationships can keep partners unseen, frustrated, exhausted, and alone. It might be frequent fights, or conflict that escalates, or a desire for a deeper connection. I help couples with presentations ranging from premarital checkups to moving past affairs and high conflict. You can get to a clearer level of understanding and break out of your typical pattern. In nourishing a relationship, we build a safe haven of comfort and joy which gives the strength to face life challenges. This powerful force, called love, is the most important thing in this life. As a scientist-practitioner (24 research publications), I am devoted to effective, scientifically proven methods that forever change lives and relationships. I have advanced training in the most effective couples therapy methods (Emotion-Focused and Gottman Method). I can’t tell you how much I love seeing real change for the couples that I work with! I will guide you in having conversations that will move you and your partner toward a more secure relationship with greater joy. You don’t have to live another day with a sense of wanting more and wondering how to move toward the relationship you are yearning for. I hope you do reach out here or at www.TashaSeiterTherapy.com. I would love to help.
With more than a decade of experience in healthcare, I'm a professional counselor who works with people of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults. Depression, anxiety, stress management, and identity-related challenges are where I focus my support, helping you navigate the mental and emotional shifts that affect your growth and identity. I believe in innate dignity at all times, which shapes the empathetic, encouraging therapeutic relationship I build with you. Together, we can build a path toward flourishing. My approach keeps treatment as simple as possible. Together, we build a roadmap by asking three questions: Where are you now? Where do you want to be? And how do you get there, in light of the challenges you're facing? Your growth is something I'm passionate about, and I believe we're all striving to experience goodness and flourishing in every area of our lives. How we get there looks different for each of us, so my goal is to help you build the skills and perspectives you need to thrive in every situation. That work happens in sessions that are lighthearted and engaging, designed to both challenge and encourage you. I draw on EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help build your confidence, which translates into a therapeutic style that's relaxed and empathetic, tailored to your unique blend of personal, professional, and social desires. My path to becoming a therapist began as a traveling sports medicine professional. As I worked with athletes recovering from serious physical injuries, I learned that their ability to return to sport was not dictated by their body, but by their mind. This experience led me to engage fully with clinical mental health counseling, as each of us experiences challenges that can become obstacles or springboards. I bring a clinical perspective that considers the mental and the physical experiences of life to each session. Outside the therapy room, you’ll most often find me enjoying sporting and outdoor activities.
Many of the students I work with feel overwhelmed trying to figure out who they are and what they want, especially in a time that feels uncertain and constantly changing. You might be thinking about your future while also holding awareness of things like climate change, global crises, or instability in the world, which can make everything feel heavier or harder to make sense of. Some students I work with are dealing with habits like skin picking or hair pulling, while others feel burnt out, anxious, or like they’re trying to keep up but struggling internally. I take a relational and systemic approach, looking at both what’s happening internally and the larger context you’re living in, while also offering practical tools to support change. Many of my clients are thoughtful and aware, trying to make sense of themselves and the world around them. Therapy can be a space to slow things down and find ways to move forward that feel more grounded and realistic.

I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. I have a BA in Psychology and a master’s degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. I am trained in trauma-based therapy and EMDR. I can support you both in English and Spanish. As a somatic therapist, I believe in the phenomenal connection between body and mind. I work to help her clients understand and establish a close relationship with their bodies. My somatic training supports the healing process by helping clients understanding how tuning into the nervous system alone can generate more wellbeing in daily life. I work with families, couples, children, teens and adults. As a therapist, I advocate and work with people of diverse backgrounds. My main lens is on the importance of how relationships shape who we are. I have experience working within various forms of attachment-based therapy and utilizes a trauma informed perspective to meet her clients where they are. My main purpose is to create a safe space to explore and unfold the process of self-discovery, healing, and growth. I am passionate about my clients and the specific supports they’re seeking and know how to apply my training at the level others can understand. When it comes to breaking down barriers, I believe in the power of understanding, exploring, and joining around challenges that can often lead to division and disconnection with self and others. In my work I find that it’s very important to feel seen and recognized in ways that are compassionate and respectful on all accounts. I like to laugh a lot and finds that rushing into things or placing timelines on major life processes can sometimes be unrealistic in the therapeutic setting. In my eyes I see that each of us has a unique understanding around our own timing and rhythm in the world, especially when challenged with life transitions. Offering therapy online.

Most of the students I work with are figuring out who they are while juggling school, family, friendships, and their future. Many feel the weight of being “the strong one” for everyone else, but behind closed doors they’re tired, anxious, or questioning if they’re enough. Some are navigating being away from home for the first time, carrying family expectations, or balancing the pressure to succeed with the need to just breathe. Others feel out of place on campus and want a space where they don’t have to explain themselves or code-switch. I connect best with young people under 25 who are ready for honest conversations, who value a therapist that will both listen deeply and challenge them to grow. My goal is to give you room to unpack your story, understand your emotions, and figure out how to move through stress, relationships, and identity with more clarity and confidence.
I work with Men who want to fear less and feel more. Men whose insecurity thrives despite their many successes. Men whose high stress is keeping them out of balance, inside and out. By working through unresolved issues from the past, in the present moment, I help Men embrace and express themselves more fully. If these words are resonate with you, I want you to know that you are not alone. Many Men are finding themselves struggling with these issues and are finding their way through it. Together we can find our way through your unique situation. Together, we can learn to embrace who you are and allow your health to shine through.
