Accepting new clients Hello and thank you viewing my profile! Life is complicated enough finding a therapist shouldn’t complicate that even more, so please allow me to support you on your journey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working in private practice. My approach to therapy involves working collaboratively with those who seek my services and support with an emphasis on strengths focused and trauma informed care. No one knows you better than you, so I aim to work alongside you to overcome whatever obstacles you may face. During sessions, I aim to create a supportive space that allows you to grow while feeling safe. Currently, I mainly offer individual therapy. I utilize treatments that are tailored to the unique needs of each client I work with. The treatment modalities I incorporate are motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. If any of this appeals to you, please reach out for a consultation or to schedule an appointment. Thank you for viewing my profile and have a nice day!
Sexual health is a valuable part of both mental and physical health. So why aren’t we talking about it? Much too often sexual health is not talked about due to embarrassment by either the client and/or the provider. During your time with me, your healing and growing space will feel comfortable enough for you to take your shoes off, sink down into the couch, and breathe deeply. You need answers and we will find them together.
I am a clinical social worker who provides individual therapy for adults. As a therapist my role is to provide a non-judgmental, safe environment for individuals to explore their life issues and support them in their personal growth. I find that a lot of us struggle with listening to our inner critic and often beat ourselves up for past regrets, as well as spending a lot of valuable time worrying about the past and the "what if's" in the future. I hope we can work together to quiet this critic and find a way to enjoy the present. My experience includes working with individuals in therapy addressing relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and assertiveness skills. I also work with individuals dealing with adjustments to major life changes, including adjusting to college. I also have experience working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in practice, but may also utilize other treatment approaches as appropriate for each individual. I encourage self-care and self-nurturing activities to support therapy. Contact me today to get started on this journey together. I can also provide ESA letters if appropriate for housing needs.
Adjusting to college life can be difficult on so many levels. I can help with anxiety and depression issues that you've been struggling with for a long time or that are new to you. Issues I often see are related to adjusting to being independent for the first time, the rigor of school, or navigating new social circles. I have special expertise in helping folks with body-focused repetitive behaviors (skin picking, hair pulling) as well as being training in cognitive behavioral treatment of insomnia.

Being a student is a non-stop balancing act of priorities. Are you in need of change but not sure what direction to go in? Life is unpredictable, but that doesn't mean you have to be overwhelmed by it. Maybe you're going through a difficult transition, dealing with chronic issues, or feeling burnt out from the constant grind. I can't wave a magic wand and make it all go away, but we can work together to make it more bearable. I believe you have the right to rest, to be, to thrive. I offer both traditional talk therapy and practical skills/tools to create noticeable growth in your daily life. Sessions with me may involve self-exploration, creating new habits in your day-to-day life, sitting with difficult emotions, taking time to relax in your body, or doing that one thing you've been putting off. This space and time is for you. If you're still unsure about the whole therapy thing, feel free to reach out for a free consultation. I function from a space of compassionate honesty and direct communication. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by being curious and open to change.
Hi, I'm Aliyah! I work with clients who are depressed or anxious, having issues with family, or simply just need a space to vent and figure out things as we go. Many of my clients have ADHD, Autism, OCD, Anxiety, or Depression. I am direct and solution-focused, so we'll get to the root of your unhelpful habits/patterns and figure out a game plan on how to move forward. I also do offer a sliding scale (therapy for cheaper rates) as college is already expensive enough! If you're ready to stop feeling like you're just getting through your day, reach out today. Evening & Saturday options available.
At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, we work best with college students who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain—even if everything looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are balancing classes, work, family expectations, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their future, all at the same time. You may be experiencing constant stress, anxiety that makes it hard to focus, low confidence, or feeling stuck in your own head. Some students come to us feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are navigating depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available. Our practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about what they’re going through without feeling rushed, labeled, or misunderstood. We focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, counseling is a collaborative process. We believe progress happens best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their growth. Our clinicians work alongside students to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen confidence in both academic and personal areas of life. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, we help students identify their values, recognize their strengths, and develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship concerns. Our goal is not just to help you get through college, but to support you in building skills and self-understanding that will serve you well beyond it.

Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you find your inner strength and make positive changes that fit your life. I strive to provide a safe space to work through emotions and find effective ways to manage them. I help people process past experiences and current reactions that affect the decisions we make in order to promote healthy change and understanding of ourselves and our patterns. Oftentimes, we are not aware of the underlying things that influence our gut reactions which can create a barrier to us meeting the goals we set for ourselves. Counseling is a way to help you understand yourself better and to break down those barriers that stop you from moving forward. I have a wide range of experience in helping people navigate identity, trauma, anxiety, and ADHD. I like to really meet people where they are at in their therapy goals, get to know where you want to be, and help you develop skills and tools that will help you meet those goals. I am big on self-compassion and building confidence that can create success.
