Do you identify as gender diverse (transgender, non-binary, gender queer, etc)? Are currently questioning or discovering your gender and/or needing a referral letter for medical transition steps? Jack Garner, LCSW is a licensed clinical therapist in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Illinois and is a member of WPATH. Their practice is offered online where they provide individual counseling and coaching as well as referral letters for medical transition steps, such as HRT and surgeries (Note, all WPATH referral letters are provided under the informed consent model - meaning NO gate-keeping practices and it takes just one session to obtain your letter). I identify as gender diverse (AFAB, Non-Binary, Transmasc), which allows me to have a unique understanding, both personal and professional, that is not often found in the therapy world. I am passionate about serving our community and understand what it is like to question your gender, experience dysphoria, and take medical transition steps. If you are looking for a therapist who truly understands you and has 'been there' themselves - I am here for you! I look forward to meeting you and will absolutely consider it my honor to assist you in discovering and/or furthering your path to authenticity, wholeness, and joy. It’s normal to feel stressed, anxious, or unsure about your next steps. That’s where Kelli Jones comes in. Kelli is a warm, approachable therapist who specializes in helping college students navigate the challenges and changes of this unique stage of life. She knows that your college years aren’t just about academics—they’re about learning who you are, finding your place in the world, and handling the pressures that come with new independence. In her sessions, Kelli creates a safe, judgment-free space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind—whether that’s stress about classes, feeling disconnected, navigating relationship ups and downs, or just feeling “off.” She blends compassion with practical strategies so you not only feel heard and understood, but also leave each session with tools you can use right away. Kelli especially loves working with students to: Manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm Build confidence and self-esteem Navigate changes in friendships, dating, and family life Cope with homesickness or big life transitions Create healthier routines and boundaries Find balance between academics, work, and personal well-being Students often say Kelli has a calming, encouraging presence that makes it easier to open up—even about tough topics. She believes therapy should feel like a supportive partnership, where you’re an active part of setting goals and creating solutions that fit your life. Kelli understands that reaching out for help can feel intimidating, so she works hard to make the process comfortable and stress-free. You don’t have to have all the answers—or even know exactly what you want to talk about. You just need a place to start, and Kelli will walk alongside you from there. If you’ve been feeling stuck, stressed, or just ready to focus on your well-being, working with Kelli can help you find the clarity and confidence you need to thrive in college and beyond. Your mental health matters. Your story matters. And Kelli Jones is ready to help you write your next chapter.
I work collaboratively with clients and their families to support the development of realistic, meaningful goals that align with each client’s lifestyle, while placing strong emphasis on the health and trust of the client–therapist relationship. I bring extensive experience in helping individuals navigate substance abuse and engage in self-discovery. I approach my work with an open-minded, nonjudgmental perspective, incorporating appropriate use of humor to foster a strong therapeutic alliance and bring a sense of ease and balance when navigating life’s challenges.
I truly believe that choosing to prioritize your own or your child’s mental health is one of the bravest and most meaningful decisions a person or parent can make. Whether you are reaching out for yourself at any stage of life or seeking support for your teenager, committing to healing and personal growth can feel overwhelming. Even finding the right therapist can feel like a daunting first hurdle. I am genuinely glad you are here and taking this step. Opening up to someone new is not easy. When beginning therapy for teens, it can feel especially intimidating to trust someone with their thoughts and emotions. For parents, it can be painful and confusing to watch your child struggle and not know how to “fix” it. Further, with adults of any age, it can be just as challenging to slow down, reflect, and allow yourself the space to be supported, or even to admit that you are struggling in the first place. I strive to create a confidential, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe enough to be yourself, explore your experiences, and begin meaningful healing. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Concerns may include anxiety (such as generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, or phobias), depression and mood disorders, personality disorders, ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, OCD, and challenges related to life transitions. With teens specifically, I have a passion for supporting concerns such as school avoidance, academic pressure, peer relationships, bullying, identity exploration, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, and family conflict. I also work with more complex concerns, including self-harm, suicidal thoughts, substance use, eating disorders, and behavioral challenges. For adults, therapy may focus on stress, burnout, relationship concerns, career or life transitions, parenting challenges, unresolved trauma, or patterns that are no longer serving you. Many adults also seek therapy to better understand themselves, improve emotional awareness, and create more meaningful, values-driven lives. I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis, where I also completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. My training included supervised clinical experiences across a variety of settings and ages, including private practice, residential treatment, a therapeutic day school, and juvenile justice systems. During my predoctoral internship, I received intensive training working with youth and families involved in complex systems of care, and collaborated closely with schools, probation, and child welfare agencies. My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities that are tailored to each individual’s specific needs. In our first sessions, we will discuss current difficulties, collaborate on goals, and determine the best approach for you or your child. My goal is to meet you where you are. For teens, this often means building trust at their own pace and helping them develop practical coping skills and emotional insight. For parents, it may involve collaboration, guidance, and tools to strengthen connection and communication at home. For adults, it may look like exploring patterns, building resilience, and working toward lasting, meaningful change. I am not what we psychologists call a “blank slate” therapist, and I will enthusiastically support you, celebrate you, and laugh with you, while also holding space for the difficult topics and why you came to therapy in the first place. No matter where you or your family are starting, you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you feel that I may be a good fit for you or your child, I welcome you to reach out.

Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile. After working at Butler University's counseling center for the past 13 years, I recently transitioned to full time private practice. I love working with college students and hope to continue working with them in my new practice. I have a lot of experience with stress, anxiety, body image, substance abuse, depression, relationship problems, grief/loss, and the changing identities and developments that take place during the college years. I offer both in person and teletherapy and I am typically able to be flexible with scheduling. I'd love a chance to meet you to see if we would be a good fit!
Everyone deserves a safe place to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe clients are the experts in themselves and I provide a safe space to explore thoughts and feelings without judgment. One request I may ask of clients when we work together is that labels like “right” or “wrong” are strongly discouraged in sessions. Letting go of those labels in session is an important part of creating that safe space. The most common struggles of the people I work with include Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, struggles with assertiveness, gray-area substance use, and anger outbursts. The other mindfulness practices can help with managing anxiety, impulsivity, and intrusive thoughts. As your recovery evolves in stages, your treatment will too. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been practicing since 2018. My specialties include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and narrative therapy, as well as other mindfulness practices.
