As a mental health therapist and licensed clinical social worker, I find great honor in walking alongside people amid different seasons of life. I work to tailor my approach towards each person's unique experiences, identities, and needs. I approach my work from a relational and trauma-informed framework while drawing from a variety of treatment modalities. My aim is to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment that equips clients to achieve their individual goals ultimately enriching their lives. I commonly work with people presenting with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I additionally have specialized training and experience working with those who have endured complex trauma, sexual harm and those who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation or trafficking.
I joined Relational Insight in 2023 to provide affordable therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I apply collaboration within therapy to help clients tell their story to practice new perspectives or behaviors. I aim to help clients find validation, healing, and growth within life struggles and transitions. I have a passion for reaching underserved clients, especially men of color and other members of marginalized groups. Also, I connect easily with adolescents struggling with emotional or behavioral concerns. I strive to provide a warm welcome with tangible support for individuals and families who may be new to focusing on their mental health. Looking to assist those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, interpersonal conflict, and professional challenges. After transitioning from the professional world as a sales director and consultant, having a Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology allows me provided insight for clients facing professional challenges and questions.
Sometimes life doesn’t fall apart all at once, it slowly becomes heavier to carry. Anxiety, burnout, trauma, grief, relationship stress, family challenges, or the constant pressure to “hold it together” can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted and disconnected from yourself. Whether you are navigating college stress, caregiving, difficult relationships, or painful past experiences, therapy can be a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to breathe again. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I strive to create a space that feels supportive, genuine, and welcoming where clients can show up as themselves. I believe each person carries resilience within themselves, even during difficult seasons of life. Together, we work to build coping tools, emotional insight, confidence, and healthier patterns while focusing on the whole person — not just one challenge. I also offer faith-sensitive care for clients who wish to incorporate spirituality into the counseling process, while always meeting clients where they are in their personal beliefs and experiences. I work with adults ages 18 and older, including college students, young adults, middle-aged adults, older adults, and caregivers. My areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief and loss, relationship concerns, caregiver stress, self-esteem, ADHD/ADD-related concerns, family conflict, parenting, college and career stress, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals and families impacted by ALS-related challenges, caregiving stress, grief, and loss. My goal is to help clients feel emotionally safe, heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey
“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must. But take the step” – unknown. Maneuvering through life’s troubled waters can sometimes be overwhelming. In today’s hectic fast-paced world sometimes it’s good to let your guard down, relax, and release all those emotions and troubles in a safe, comfortable environment. I am ready to help you heal, explore, and gain insight into resolving any issues to live a more serene, well-balanced life. I am passionate about helping clients bring back the laughter, confidence, and security. I am caring and committed with comprehensive treatments designed for each individual I work with. I have experience in working with individuals of diverse backgrounds in all stages of life from childhood issues to adolescence to adulthood. I have assisted individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral impairments as well as those struggling with adjusting to life’s hurdles and transitioning into new beginnings. Graduating from Michigan State University with my Masters in Social Work has given me the opportunity to work in such a rewarding field allowing me to walk beside those seeking a brighter life.

In a world that constantly pulls your attention in a thousand directions, it’s easy to feel like you’re drifting through college rather than actually living it. At Greater Presence Counseling, we believe true healing begins when you stop rushing past the present moment. Whether you’re navigating personal hurdles, managing academic burnout, or searching for a more meaningful way forward, our goal is to help you show up fully. We integrate clinical expertise with a focus on holistic health to help you shift from feeling overwhelmed to living with intention and clarity. I work best with students who feel like they are carrying the weight of the world—whether that comes from a history of abuse, difficult experiences with religion, or just the overwhelming pressure to keep it all together. You might feel like you have to be "on" all the time for your classes or friends, but inside, you are struggling to find solid ground. I provide a "Safe Harbor" where you can drop the act and be real. As a former firefighter, I am not afraid of the heavy stuff; I offer a judgment-free space to process trauma, anxiety, or deep questions about your faith and identity. You don't have to navigate this alone. As a Counselor in Training, I offer flexible, affordable options because I believe a tight student budget shouldn't stop you from finding peace. Let's work together to help you stop just surviving school and start actually living your life.
