Built for Mental Wellness, PC
Here at Built for Mental WELLNESS, we are serious about helping you live authentically and develop tolerance for life’s stressors. There are many frameworks for therapy and ways to problem-solve issues. However, your growth is to be your growth and utilizing the “right” structure takes understanding. Allow me to be an instrument along your journey in wellness, growth, and overall empowerment. The mission of Built for Mental WELLNESS is to achieve and realize wellness. To define wellness as a state of good health leaves many domains in question; such as physical, spiritual, social, medical, and mental health sub-types. When linking with Built for Mental WELLNESS, your wellness will be catered to as an active pursuit, ever-changing, and ever-evolving over time. This is reminiscent of the human process…ever-changing and ever-evolving. Together we will define wellness for you, your family, and relationships. We strive to provide clear goals and tools to obtain manageability, healing, and peace over unrealized needs and/or wants that speaks to long-lasting wellness.

Exhausted by your loud inner critic? Overwhelmed by your neverending to-do list? Or maybe you're a slave to your grades? Despite looking like you have your sh!t together, internally you feel like a scattered fraud cosplaying as a human. Trying to be the perfect friend, perfect student, or perfect partner all at once is exhausting. There's a deeper wound that hasn't healed yet. Perhaps you dream of feeling fulfilled, calm, & confident? To say "no" and actually mean it? To stop playing small & launch that creative idea? If you want to stress less & live authentically without fear or guilt, I’d love to help you step into your power. I love working with creative women and gender expansive folks who have silenced themselves to make others comfortable. They are wanting to rediscover their voice, reclaim their power, be true to themselves while caring less about what others think about them. I’m proudly a human first, clinical psychologist second. I’m a connoisseur of many paradoxical things, from downtempo electronica to heavy metal. I love my tea dark, just like my humor. As a recovering perfectionist with ADHD, I know the struggle of imposter syndrome & the fear of “not being enough.” I can help you feel confident while giving the middle finger to perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt. I use a holistic approach & teach you skills to regulate your nervous system. I specialize in mindful hypnosis, EMDR, & IFS. I liberally use creativity & humor to create a supportive space for you to learn new skills, re-discover your strengths, & overcome life’s stressors with courage. If you’re secretly a rebel underneath all that people pleasing, perfectionism, and “good” behavior, you’re my kind of vibe. Please email me on my website to connect, voicemails are my nemesis!
Conversations
I named my practice Conversations Therapy because I have always felt that the words “therapy” and “counseling” have a bad reputation. Some people think that seeking therapy is admitting weakness; others think that their therapist will judge them or tell them that they are “bad” or “broken.” In reality, neither of these things could be further from the truth. Rather, seeking therapy requires strength and determination. Furthermore, therapy can and should be a good experience. At Conversations Therapy, I believe that you are the expert of your own life. As your therapist, my job is to guide you through your complex emotions so that you can gain better clarity on your life. My motto is “Be your authentic self.” I welcome people regardless of their age, background, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference, gender identity, or any other identity a human being might hold. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your feelings and express yourself freely. I encourage you to be yourself and your whole self. In our therapy sessions, we will look at the whole of you and see how your different experiences and emotions have impacted your life.
Victoria Fahnestock
I’m deeply passionate about working with teens and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or neurodivergence. I understand that navigating these challenges can feel incredibly overwhelming and isolating. My clients often come to me feeling stuck and uncertain, desiring clarity and a sense of direction. They are eager to grow and find their path, yet they may not have the tools or support they need to make this vision a reality. My role is to walk alongside them with empathy and patience, helping them build confidence and resilience. Together, we work to uncover their unique strengths and develop strategies that honor their individual experiences and aspirations. My goal is to provide a supportive space where they can explore their feelings, discover their authentic selves, and move forward with hope and purpose.

You don't have to keep doing it alone.
