Today more than ever people are experiencing depression, anxiety, isolation, high levels of stress, and a profound heaviness as they try to juggle unrealistic expectations of their relationships, career, and life. I am passionate about ending this cycle by giving my clients the opportunity to heal and grow. I work to provide a space where my clients can work through their wounds and obstacles toward a life and identity that permeates worthiness and embodies strength and empowerment. As a therapist, I walk alongside my clients as they courageously embark on their healing journey. I help them identify roadblocks that are preventing them from fully living the life they wish to live and achieving their goals. I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years.I have worked with teens, adults, and parents. My clinical framework is grounded in attachment theory and in understanding the impact that relationships and experiences have on how we view ourselves and the world. I am trained in various clinical modalities and use the modalities that best meet my client's needs. I focus on creating an environment that inspires hope and feels collaborative and welcoming. In my practice, I focus on helping individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, burn out, substance abuse, grief, relationship dynamic issues, parenting issues, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. My work also includes parent coaching and life coaching.

Enduring Strength Counseling Services
Do you find yourself having strong emotional responses to past events? Are you struggling to “Let go” or “Move on” from painful experiences? A typical Enduring Strength Counseling client is someone between the ages of 20-35, possibly a member of the military community, who answered yes to the questions above and is ready to begin their mental health journey but do not want to deal with the constraints and limitations of insurance companies. My clients pay for services directly and feel greater comfort and peace of mind to engage in counseling knowing that their care will not be denied.

When you're struggling with an eating disorder, anxiety, or depression, the idea of opening up and trusting another person can be HARD. I know that you've likely heard so many messages throughout your life about what you should do and who you should be, but I don't think that "shoulds" have a place in therapy. Who do you WANT to be? How do you WANT to feel? That is way more important than any shoulds, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you start to find answers to these questions over time. Together, we can unravel those expectations - what you've been told it means to be healthy or successful or fill in the blank - and get to the heart of what really matters to you and what you need. Being a human is messy, and as your therapist, I'll be right there in that space with you as a human first, therapist second. Let's explore what it means to be humans in a world that expects perfection (which doesn't exist!) and pushes you to grind until you're too burned out to do the things you actually want to do. Whether you realize it today or not, you deserve peace. I have many tools in my toolbox to support you, but to me the most important thing I can do is to provide you a safe space to explore your experience in its entirety at your own pace - to build a connection that is strong enough for you to know that I won't judge you or make you bad or wrong for how you are feeling or for using certain behaviors to cope. It's what you've known to do up to this point, so let's put our heads together and find the ways that this has made sense so we can look at it from a place of compassion instead of judgment. This is a shame-free space! I hold a special place in my heart for those who are working towards eating disorder recovery who feel like they aren't sick enough because their body size, race, sexuality, or gender identity don't match what they are seeing on social media under the eating disorder hashtags. All identities are welcome here, and no matter what your circumstances, your concerns are valid, you ARE sick enough, and you deserve compassionate, equitable care. If anything I've said here makes you think "I like her vibe," please don't hesitate to reach out. I would love to chat further about what it would look like for us to work together.

Do you have a hard time understanding and articulating your feelings? Do you feel stuck in patterns or relationships that are no longer serving you? My focus is supporting individuals and couples in moving away from beliefs and behaviors that are holding them back and toward the life they want to live. Working together via online therapy, we’ll identify the patterns, thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you stuck. Our therapy sessions will be custom-tailored to help you gain insight into what’s not working for you and to figure out where you want to be and how to get there. Clients describe my style as calm, holistic, professional and compassionate. I offer a wide range of grounding, integrating and mindfulness practices in our sessions and use a body-based approach when appropriate, helping clients explore how various bodily sensations are linked to their emotional experience. I understand the pain and challenges of outdated beliefs and behaviors - and I know that it doesn’t have to be that way. I believe therapy provides us with the support, guidance and tools to navigate away from pain and suffering and toward new, more satisfying ways of being. A lot of the students I work with are used to being the “put together” one. The responsible one. The one who pushes through. But behind the scenes, they’re exhausted. Many are dealing with complicated relationships with food, body image, or perfectionism while also navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, or chronic illness. From the outside it might look like they’re managing fine, but internally it can feel like a constant battle with their own mind or body. A lot of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, but tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns or feeling like they’re constantly fighting themselves. In therapy with me, the goal isn’t to shame or rush you into change. Instead, we slow things down and get curious about what your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are actually trying to communicate. From there, we work on building coping tools, creating more flexibility in patterns that feel rigid or overwhelming, and rebuilding trust with your body. You don’t have to come in with everything figured out. Many of my clients start therapy feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or even skeptical — and that’s completely okay. Therapy is just a space where you can show up honestly and start making sense of things at your own pace.

Throughout most of our culture boys are not given much opportunity to explore their inner worlds, identify and express emotions or encouraged to build supportive and robust social networks. As these boys become men it leaves them lacking skills to know when and how to reach out for support. This is where I come in. I help guide young men through life's challenges by teaching skills that will help them in all facets of their life. Tired of feeling stuck, alone and not knowing how or what to change. Book your free consult through my website and let's see if working together is the best next step for you. No need to go it alone anymore.

Which is process of therapy... My goal as a clinician is to always provide a safe place full of laughter, insight, and most of all healing and understanding.
