You may be feeling stuck, uncertain, or burnt out and deeply desire change, but are struggling to make the change you want to experience. You may be grieving a loss or in a transition point in your life, and are unsure of what to do or how to claim your power. You may have experienced discrimination, microaggressions, racism, and systemic or gendered oppression. I provide comprehensive medication management for ADHD, depression, insomnia, PMDD, PTSD, and weight management. But I don't just treat symptoms. I treat the whole person. That means we're going to look at the full picture: your sleep habits, screen time, nutrition, movement, stress levels, and how you communicate. Because all of it matters. Your brain doesn't exist in a vacuum, and neither do your symptoms. If you're running on autopilot, procrastinating on work, can't focus, can't sleep, can't stick to the routines you know would help... you're frustrated with your eating habits, your exercise patterns, or how you feel during certain times of the month, or maybe you just don't feel like yourself lately. I can help. If you're ready to stop wasting energy on what drains you and start investing it where it actually counts, let's get started.
The clients I work best with are often carrying the weight of trauma and are seeking a more connected, empowered way of living. Whether personal, generational, or systemic, many feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, self-doubt, or disconnection from their bodies and sense of self. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), I offer a holistic approach that gently supports nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and self-awareness. I also draw from mindfulness-based practices and integrate ancestral wisdom and energy work when aligned with the client’s needs. My role is to walk alongside you as you reclaim your voice, your wholeness, and your own inner wisdom.
Hi, my name is Greg, and I am a licensed counselor in OR and WA. I have over 15 years of experience providing counseling, and much of that time has been in serving students in universities. I have previously served as the director of the university counseling center at both the University of Portland and Concordia University PDX. I highly enjoy working with college students on a variety of issues. I am a generalist provider that is LGBTQ+ affirming, and utilize an acceptance and commitment therapy perspective to help students with issues such as depression, anxiety, academic stress, life changes, future direction, traumatic experiences, and relationship issues. I look forward to meeting you and helping you in your academic and life journey.
I provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and trauma-informed space where clients can safely explore who they are and who they want to become. My goal is to help you connect with your authentic self, build resilience, and find empowerment in your own story. I specialize in working with individuals (ages 6 and up) and couples navigating: Anxiety and depression Identity exploration and life transitions Family and relationship conflict Trauma and self-worth challenges I believe that everyone has the capacity for change—no one is "resistant." Sometimes we just need help identifying the barriers that hold us back. Together, we'll work to uncover those blocks, strengthen your inner voice, and guide you toward a more empowered, fulfilling life.
Come chat with me and my cats! My goal is to provide a caring and challenging space to learn more about yourself and figure out how to live with the things that stress you out. I typically help by exploring what you want, value, and believe, and helping you be more "you." I also offer some assessment services for ADHD, autism, and surgery referrals.
My clinical approach is multi-disciplinary and rooted in psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and humanistic psychology. I also have a background in integrative health and wellness, which can contribute to a more in-depth perspective on treatment. In addition, my work is relational and informed by the belief and the research that the essence of therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. It is this relationship that can encourage true and thorough transformation. My style is genuine, collaborative, interpersonal, direct, and non-judgemental, and I encourage clients to be true to themselves and transparent. Although treatment is based on an individual's needs and goals, primary objectives in treatment are to help clients (re)connect to their confidence and curiosity and to reinforce their capacity and resiliency.
My areas of emphasis are relationships, trans-affirming care, neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ concerns, trauma, anxiety, sexuality, multi-ethnic/cultural identity & college-related concerns. I support my clients in unlearning shame, setting boundaries without guilt, embracing their identities and cultures with pride, and build more authentic, fulfilling relationships. I offer a compassionate space where you can safely explore yourself, challenge old patterns, and develop new ways of responding that support healing, confidence and lasting change. In addition to psychotherapy, I provide WPATH assessments and letters for gender affirming surgeries. Therapy with me is collaborative, affirming, and driven by the desire to support you in healing through your resilience and empowerment. I integrate psychodynamic and action-oriented methods and my approach is liberation-based, anti-racist and trauma-informed.
Fundamentally, I believe we as humans all strive to do the best we can. We all possess the desire to thrive. Our individual internal strengths contribute to our natural resiliency, helping us navigate through life’s challenges. At times, an individual’s journey endures obstacles that are not easily tackled alone. Being human and juggling life’s difficulties can be challenging. Needing guidance to learn new skills and support to foster your strengths is okay. I enjoy supporting and guiding children, teens and families in exploring their needs and identifying strategies to help improve their overall well-being. I will come alongside you, working to grow strength and resiliency, one step at a time.
I love providing support to students navigating the challenges unique to the college years. I work well with both traditional and non-traditional students. I offer a warm and empathic connection, with plenty of care balanced with humor. I enjoy building a therapeutic connection and assisting my clients in their own growth and development.

On paper, everything looks good. Underneath though, you're feeling unsettled and struggling. The people I work with typically look like they are doing well in school and in life, but are struggling to manage their feelings and feel settled in their bodies and mind. I help those struggling with anxiety and depression who are not sure why they feel the way they do. I help people find beneficial coping skills instead of relying on possibly harmful ones. Being a student and navigating the landscape, both locally and globally can feel very overwhelming. I help people break things down into manageable pieces in order to restore a sense of agency and confidence. If you have any questions or need some support, feel free to message me. I return inquiries within 24 hours during the week and on Monday if sent over the weekend.
