Humor is something I like to incorporate into therapy; however, we can be serious about your concerns too. People of all ages struggle with human suffering and sometimes you need someone to walk with you through that, whether it be something you wish to change or something that you cannot. I aim to help my clients make meaning in life while also identifying the connections between our individual concerns and larger systems in life. I provide individual therapy for a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, identity exploration, and trauma, with specialized experience supporting people through grief, traumatic loss, and substance use concerns. My clients have expressed appreciation for my ability to sit with them in their suffering, when they have felt most alone. I have multiple years of experience previously working in college counseling centers. During these experiences, I supported students from a variety of backgrounds and found a lot of joy in helping students at a unique intersection in their lives. I have been lucky to work with a diverse student population and have supported many queer and trans students in exploring their gender and sexual identities while also addressing other mental health concerns. In addition, I was able to support BIPOC students as they addressed systemic issues within the university, while also exploring their individual racial identities. I further co-facilitated a family-trauma group during my time at a university counseling center. Thus, I find that I greatly appreciate being able to sit with students who are addressing these concerns. I am a Psychologist Resident in OR. I have my doctorate and five years of experience providing therapy, however, to become licensed in OR I must complete a supervised residency. I am supervised by Dr. Carrie McMullin (OR 2963). My clients seek me out for a variety of reasons, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and stress disorders; adjustment difficulties; academic difficulties; and relationship and family-of-origin concerns. Sometimes, they just need someone to help them through a difficult time in their life or to help them understand why they are the way they are. If you’re wondering whether I might be a good fit for you, feel free to have a look around my website or contact me to discuss next steps.

My clinical approach is multi-disciplinary and rooted in psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and humanistic psychology. I also have a background in integrative health and wellness, which can contribute to a more in-depth perspective on treatment. In addition, my work is relational and informed by the belief and the research that the essence of therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. It is this relationship that can encourage true and thorough transformation. My style is genuine, collaborative, interpersonal, direct, and non-judgemental, and I encourage clients to be true to themselves and transparent. Although treatment is based on an individual's needs and goals, primary objectives in treatment are to help clients (re)connect to their confidence and curiosity and to reinforce their capacity and resiliency.
Hello. Sometimes we can be dealt a lot of blows or disappointments in life and it's tough slogging though it alone. I welcome working with those who are facing transitions or relationship difficulties, have depression and/or anxiety, among other life issues. Sometimes family issues and past wounds can become a focus of treatment. Receiving therapeutic support during these critical moments can make a positive and lasting difference. I welcome your call to find out more about working with me or to set up an appointment.

Do you love gaining insight into who you are? Are you a little more introverted and introspective? Do you see life as an opportunity to develop yourself and grow? Do you sometimes also feel guilty over potentially disappointing others, or are you constantly acting as a mediator in your relationships? If these questions resonate- then you might be an internalizer and we can do some wonderful work together to help you understand your past and help you become the most emotionally healthy version of yourself. My practice is focused on helping you develop insight into the "why" behind some of your struggles. I work with people facing depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, identity development (racial, sexual, spiritual, personality, etc), and difficulty processing loss. If any of that resonates please reach out and we can schedule a free consultation.

Gathered & Wise exists to provide excellent and experienced perinatal and maternal mental health care. We believe that a well-supported mother has a tremendous positive impact on her children and her community. We also believe women deserve wellness due to their own intrinsic worth; not based on what roles they hold, or what they can contribute to others. It is our hope and intention to create a warm environment where both clients and therapists feel respected, supported, and are given the tools they need to thrive.
My specialties are self-worth, relationships/attachment and traumas. From our earliest experience, that may not even be remembered, we've learned how to be in relationship. Some things may have been very helpful and other things we learned work against us. Through a lens of relationship much can be understood about ourselves. I offer both weekday and weekend sessions as business hours don't always work. I even offer in-home counseling (additional fees apply) for those who prefer or need me to come to them.
