I am a licensed professional counselor and have been in practice for over 10 years. I want to acknowledge how uncomfortable or scary it can be to reach out for help and engage in therapy. My goal is to make therapy welcoming and approachable. I am experienced working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use as well as other concerns. I also work with couples. Often, we feel stuck. Stuck in our relationships, our jobs and with ourselves. I believe therapy can help us become unstuck and free us from patterns that are causing pain and distress. Please feel free to reach out to me, we can chat and decide if working together feels like a good fit.

At Elohim Health & Wellness, we understand that college and young adulthood can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Academic pressure, relationships, work, family expectations, major life transitions, and trying to figure out what comes next can all affect your mental health. Hello. Sometimes we can be dealt a lot of blows or disappointments in life and it's tough slogging though it alone. I welcome working with those who are facing transitions or relationship difficulties, have depression and/or anxiety, among other life issues. Sometimes family issues and past wounds can become a focus of treatment. Receiving therapeutic support during these critical moments can make a positive and lasting difference. If you feel unheard, disconnected, or at the end of your rope, maybe you are feeling lost after losing your faith, or are in a relationship that leaves you unseen. I offer therapy that starts with your emotions, lived experience, and focuses on compassion as a tool for healing. I utilize a trauma-informed, nature-based therapy and believe nature is a powerful tool for keeping us grounded when things in our lives feel out of control. Together we can work on helping you feel more grounded, connected, and at peace. I offer telehealth counseling across Oregon, including Portland, Salem, Eugene, Bend, and Medford. Much of my work has involved trauma and helping people make sense of what happened and how it shows up now. I listened first, reflect what I'm hearing, and then look at what emotions that brings up for you, in a warm, non-judgmental, calming space. I also offer walk-and-talk, nature-based sessions for people who feel better processing outdoors. Finding the right fit matters. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation on my website. Evening hours available.

Healing is nuanced, deeply personal, and rarely linear. It’s okay to ask for some extra support along the way. Therapy can be a space to help you process what feels stuck, create meaningful change, and feel more at home in yourself. You are not alone in this. I’m a queer, nonbinary therapist with over a decade of clinical experience across multiple levels of care. I have particular expertise in supporting adults as they navigate eating disorder recovery, body image healing, life transitions, and LGBTQIA2S+ mental health. The heart of my practice is building bridges of compassion between the body, mind, and sense of self. My dialectical and holistic approach is grounded in queer affirmation, neurodiversity affirmation, body liberation, and harm reduction. Whatever is bringing you to therapy, please reach out for a free phone consultation. I’d be glad to connect.

Therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, but it can also be a place to figure out what actually helps. My approach combines insight with practical strategies for making everyday life more manageable. I work with adults experiencing ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and difficulty managing the demands of everyday life. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent adults, including people who were diagnosed with ADHD or autism later in life or who are beginning to recognize these patterns in themselves. For ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, we identify the specific patterns that are creating problems in your life and develop strategies to address them. This might include difficulties with organization, task initiation, motivation, time management, emotional regulation, routines, transitions, or feeling chronically overwhelmed. Rather than simply telling you to try harder or be more disciplined, we look for practical ways to make things easier and build systems that work with the way your brain functions. For autistic and other neurodivergent clients, therapy can also provide space to better understand your needs, recognize patterns of masking and burnout, navigate relationships and communication, and find ways of moving through the world that require less constant effort. My approach draws from CBT, humanistic therapy, mindfulness, and practical problem-solving. Therapy is collaborative and individualized: we can explore where patterns come from when that is useful, while also focusing on what can make life work better now. The goal is not to change who you are, but to reduce unnecessary struggle, build useful skills, and help you create a life that fits you better.

College can be an exciting but overwhelming time—balancing academics, relationships, future goals, and mental health isn’t always easy. At Praxis, I provide integrative psychiatric care that supports college students in navigating these challenges. My approach combines medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic strategies to help you feel more grounded, focused, and in control of your well-being. As both a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I bring a unique blend of expertise to my work. I started my career as a therapist, helping people explore their emotions, relationships, and personal growth. Now, as a psychiatric provider, I integrate medication management with therapy, offering a well-rounded approach that supports both mental and emotional health. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, ADHD, depression, or the stress of major life transitions, my goal is to provide personalized, evidence-based care that fits your needs. My approach is collaborative, meaning we’ll work together to find the right combination of strategies—whether that’s therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, or a mix of all three. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. At Praxis, you’ll have a space where you can explore what’s going on, feel understood, and develop tools to move forward with confidence.

Champion Family Therapy is a small, locally owned practice founded by Jessica Champion, LMFT in 2018. Prior to opening Champion Family Therapy, Jessica Champion had the vision for fifteen years of creating a mental health therapy practice that was family-centered. She saw the need for a clinic that would address the challenges of individuals, couples and families, by incorporating the many facets of recovery, including relational dynamics and core beliefs transferred through generations. From this vision, Champion Family Therapy was born. At Champion Family Therapy, we understand that most people seek therapy after unwelcome challenges in their lives. We are always moved by the desire for change and the risk it takes to make that call. It is our job to meet you where you are with competence and compassion.

Welcome! What is a mosaic? It is little imperfect pieces of glass or tile that come together to form beautiful art. How can we create a mosaic within ourselves and in our lives? All the broken pieces of glass or tile can represent trauma, experiences, life journeys, and parts of our self that we sometimes don’t necessarily know how to understand them to incorporate them into our sense of self. I have a passion for working with people to help them to understand these broken pieces, and help them to put these pieces together in a way that creates the beautiful mosaic that is YOU! I have 18 years of experience, specializing in working with transition-aged youth (ages 16-24), adults, and people of color that struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, among other life challenges that people may face. I also strive to understand what your needs are and work with you in a way that can meet those needs to best assist you in therapy. Please contact me if you are interested in taking a step forward in your life journey that can lead to discovering and understanding the beautiful mosaic of you!
