As a therapist, I specialize in working with current and former athletes, students, and high achievers who are navigating challenges with perfectionism, self-criticism, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, and identity. My practice is rooted in supporting girls and women strengthen their confidence and redefine their success. Whether you're navigating life during or after sport, facing academic or career pressure, or trying to rediscover who you are outside of achievement, therapy can be a powerful space to pause, reflect, and heal. Many of my clients are used to excelling. From the outside, they seem driven, focused, and capable. But internally, they may struggle with self-criticism, burnout, imposter syndrome, or a sense that they’re not “enough”, even when they’re exceeding expectations. I use evidence based strategies to help clients in creating a more empowered sense of self! My approach is collaborative, affirming, and non-judgemental. I’m a former collegiate athlete and current coach, so I have first-hand experience seeing and experiencing the impact on young women. I am also currently PhD Candidate researching depression, anxiety, and perfectionism seen in athletes.
If you are new to therapy or if you've met with a therapist before, I commend you for recognizing your need for supporting yourself right now. If you are experiencing problems related to drugs and alcohol, anxiety, depression, anger, or stress management, I feel confident that I can help you to deal with these issues effectively. I take a mindfulness-based approach in working with clients, which incorporates a main focus of learning to accept and be with whatever is happening in the present moment. This can help create clarity and present a reasonable solution to challenges. If you are interested in working with me, please reach out to me at anytime.
Unlike other therapists who believe that the mind is the key to unlocking everything, I believe in the holistic perspective of working with mind, emotions, and body. I have over 400-hours of certifications on the most scientifically backed approaches towards holistic healing which combines physiology, psychology, biology, neuroscience, and ancient Chinese healing practices. Through my sessions you will learn how the mind-body connection helps open neuropathways to healing. The skillset you learn in session will become a part of your "toolset" on your life- long journey towards happiness and wellbeing. I will not wholly agree with you, or "uh huh" you too much. I will push you, heal you, and help you in your apprenticeship to the truth.
Everyone can benefit from therapy regardless of how big or small a problem feels: both sprained and broken ankles can benefit from crutches! Whether you have faced a life-altering event, or have worries about the future, I will guide and support you along the journey. Taking the first steps to begin therapy can be intimidating, but is an important move to make to become your best self. My approach balances the emotional processing necessary to generate insights with the practical components of skill building to truly give you all the benefits therapy can provide. I use a flexible integrative model to generate individualized treatment since no two people or problems are the same. I believe therapy is most effective when we collaborate to improve your quality of life. I'm excited to begin the process of achieving your personal goals! Currently supervised by Tara Towler-Cumby, MA, LPC, CPCS.

Navigating life's challenges can feel impossible at times, even if we find ourselves seemingly surrounded by support. Are you in the middle of a life transition, unsure of the next steps to take to help you move forward? Are you open to exploring past and present experiences in a judgment-free space, in the hopes of bringing you closer to emotional freedom? In my work with adult individuals, I integrate mindfulness practices and various evidence-based techniques to help you develop healthy coping mechanisms, build self-compassion, and create a more fulfilling life. I approach my work in therapy with a trauma-informed, person-focused, eclectic perspective. This means that I use a variety of tools and techniques in therapy (e.g., psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, CBT, DBT, integrative family systems, Emotionally-Focused Therapy), curated to support each client’s needs in the moment. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to live a life that aligns with your values and desired outcomes. Our past experiences may continue to be a part of us, but it is my hope that our work together will empower you to be your own unique person, flaws and all.
Research shows that it is the relationship between the client and the therapist that is the most important factor for success. I work to build a collaborative relationship that is rich, trusting, and productive. I look to encourage curiosity toward our experiences, where thoughts and patterns can be put into words. My work with people often centers around feelings of anxiety, dissatisfaction with important relationships or career, confusing ways of behaving, and a lack of clarity about why we feel the way we do. Often there is the sense that previous ways of being and thinking in the world may not be working as well as they used to. I believe Psychotherapy is an art and a science. Thinking together, we often find a better understanding of ourselves and our behavior, with a new sense of freedom and flexibility toward life that can be more strategic and less reactive, showing us a way of being and relating to others that is more creative, effective, and ultimately more fulfilling.
Adapting to new environments, personalities and requirements can be a difficult transition for college students and their families. Additionally, social pressures, feelings of depression and anxiety are common. Unexpected stresses, failures or even success can bring a variety of emotions that may feel overwhelming. I work with individuals (and their families when appropriate and desired by the client) to process experiences, feelings and assist in discovering strengths and coping skills.

Hello, I’m so glad you’re here! I'm passionate about guiding individuals on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. As an art therapist, I believe in the transformative power of creativity to help people of any age express themselves and navigate life's complexities. You don’t need to consider yourself to be an artist to find benefit in creative healing. I will work with you to introduce artmaking that meets your unique needs. Alongside art therapy, I also offer traditional talk therapy, providing a holistic approach to mental and emotional well-being that can be best catered to your specific therapeutic needs. In my practice, I prioritize a person-centered, existential, and strengths-based approach, recognizing that each person is the expert of their own experiences. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, understanding that therapy knows no age limit. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns at their own pace. As a LAPC and ATR-P I am currently under the supervision and direction of Nancy Morales, LPC, ATR-BC, CPCS and AICC Clinical Director, Christi Bartolomucci, PhD, LPC, CPCS. My areas of specialty include ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, chronic illness, grief, loss, behavioral issues, personal growth, relationships, social skills, life transitions and navigating life changes, such as impacts of divorce or career shifts. Do you often feel anxious or overwhelmed, more than you'd like? Is it impacting your relationships or your ability to function? Maybe you feel frazzled or out of control, or you're navigating a significant loss or life transition that feels especially challenging. Therapy can bring clarity and support meaningful change. I support clients experiencing overwhelm & anxiety, difficult life transitions and grief by customizing care and equipping each client with easily accessible tools. I take an integrative approach by utilizing acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and also drawing from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). My services are specialized to meet the unique needs of women because women’s physical & mental wellness is unique! Creating a safe, inclusive environment, cultivating a genuine relationship and laughter are all important to me. I deeply appreciate being able to learn as much or more from my clients as I have from my training and experience.
Life can feel heavy, but you don’t have to carry that weight alone. In our time together, we’ll make space for healing, build a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and strengthen the resilience you need to move forward with confidence. I have experience providing individual therapy to children, teens, and adults, as well as offering parent coaching and family therapy. My clients have faced a wide range of mental health challenges, from mild anxiety and depression to complex mood disorders and life-threatening symptoms.
In the words of Susan David, “discomfort is the admission price to a full life.” This profound truth guides my approach to therapy. Growth often begins in those challenging moments when we face what feels difficult—yet it’s precisely these moments that open doors to our most authentic and fulfilling lives. I like to view counseling as a process of returning home to yourself. Between the pressure of living in today’s world, traumatic experiences, and wounds we experience along the way, we can get disconnected from our values, wisdom, inner strength, and creative spirit. The good news is we get to make this journey together. I am committed to sitting with you with warmth and a calming presence as we walk through the counseling process together. Guided by both relational and somatic approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory, we will address your concerns through a holistic lens encompassing mind, body, and spirit.
Hello; My name is Shane Blasko. I am a Licensed Psychologist. The style of therapy that I utilize is compassion-based interpersonal therapy, which is based on the idea that the relationship between a person and their therapist is extremely important. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy; it is an important relationship through which we can heal from past traumas, work through life transitions, learn to communicate more effectively, and learn to manage disruptive symptoms through learning more effective ways of coping, and understanding why we cope the way we do. I believe that it is important for therapists to try to understand the different contexts that each client is coming from; this means that I am dedicated to learning more about how each client experiences the world, and makes sense of it. I believe that each individual is unique, and that part of the job of the therapist is to try to understand how the client makes meaning of their experiences, and to assist the client with their goals.
