Hello! I have been fortunate to have worked with a diverse array of client populations throughout my career, but currently specialize in and am passionate about working with college students, young adults, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC women. My clinical areas of specialty and expertise include anxiety, depression, ADHD, family dynamics, social/relationship challenges, and academic and life transitions.
*When emailing me, please specify what you are seeking therapy for!* My practice is rooted in the belief that everyone is worthy of health, recovery, and a positive relationship with food and their body, no matter their size. My goal is to create a space that feels safe and supportive enough to make positive change happen. I specialize in eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, OSFED), self-esteem challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, and self-harming behaviors in young adults (18+) and adults and am currently the assistant clinical director of a nationally recognized eating disorder outpatient program. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, with the belief that therapy is not "one size fits all." We will work as a team to figure out what is most supportive and effective for you. Recovering from disordered eating in a society that encourages it IS possible. If you are ready to take the next step in your recovery, I would love to schedule a phone consultation with you to see if we would be a good fit.
You may be a student who is doing your best to keep up with classes, work, relationships, and other expectations, while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Maybe you put a lot of pressure on yourself, have difficulty slowing down, or keep finding yourself in the same painful patterns with family, friends, or partners. You may also be navigating cultural or family expectations while trying to figure out what you want for yourself. I work especially well with students who are thoughtful, self-reflective, and interested in understanding themselves more deeply. In therapy, we can look at what is contributing to your stress, how past experiences may still affect you, and what might help you feel more grounded and confident in your choices. My style is warm, collaborative, and active—I won’t just sit back and listen, but will work with you to make sense of what is happening and find practical ways forward. I have 15 years of clinical experience, including nearly eight years working with college and graduate students at the Brandeis University Counseling Center. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, academic stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, perfectionism, and cultural adjustment. I am bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you are already carrying a lot. Feeling comfortable and understood matters. If this sounds like what you are looking for, I welcome you to reach out and see whether we might be a good fit.
Healing is nuanced, deeply personal, and rarely linear. It’s okay to ask for some extra support along the way. Therapy can be a space to help you process what feels stuck, create meaningful change, and feel more at home in yourself. You are not alone in this. I’m a queer, nonbinary therapist with over a decade of clinical experience across multiple levels of care. I have particular expertise in supporting adults as they navigate eating disorder recovery, body image healing, life transitions, and LGBTQIA2S+ mental health. The heart of my practice is building bridges of compassion between the body, mind, and sense of self. My dialectical and holistic approach is grounded in queer affirmation, neurodiversity affirmation, body liberation, and harm reduction. Whatever is bringing you to therapy, please reach out for a free phone consultation. I’d be glad to connect.
I often work with students who want help with anxiety, depression, self esteem, sleep disorders, and relationship issues.

Whatever it is that has brought you here, welcome! I work with folks facing a range of issues, with a specialty in trauma, anxiety, family conflict, LGBTQIA+ identity, and relationship issues. If you experience stress from caring for/about others and our environment, I am ready to support you. I am a climate-aware therapist, meaning I recognize climate grief and eco-anxiety as legitimate responses to a global crisis and important areas of attention in therapy to help you better navigate our changing world. I am committed to providing queer- and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and I believe in the collaborative exploration of all intersections of identity that feel important to you. My experience informs my work. My career in international humanitarian aid and gender-based violence lends a unique perspective to trauma-informed care. I also support people in therapeutically integrating psychedelic experiences. I look forward to getting started!

I believe that everyone has the strength and resilience already in themselves to overcome challenges, navigate difficult circumstances, and have meaningful connections with others. My approach to therapy is strength-based, holistic, and largely focuses on using mindfulness-based techniques and practices. In the last 14 years I have had the privilege to work with a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities, and lived experiences. I've had the privilege to work with first generation college students, international students, adult learners pursuing a second career, and younger students adjusting to independent life and college for the first time. In the past 4 years I have specialized in in working with college and graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in the health sciences field. I understand how challenging it can be to navigate these stressful times and how difficult it can be to find a balance between taking care of yourself and reaching your academic potential. It can get better and I'd like to help.
I help young adults and adults navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, perfectionism, and trauma. My warm, collaborative approach combines evidence-based therapies with mindfulness and self-compassion to help you understand patterns, build practical tools, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and balance.
I work with adults dealing with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, stress, & executive dysfunction. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs. I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques to help you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges and build on your strengths. As a queer, autistic/neurodivergent, & disabled therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting people within these communities in a way that is respectful, understanding, and empowering. I recognize the impacts that trauma & systems of inequality can have on mental health, & strive to provide care that is compassionate & inclusive. I show up as my authentic self & work to create a space where you can feel safe, comfortable, & accepted. You are the expert on your own life, & my role is to support you as we explore what you need to heal, grow, & move forward.
Many of the students I work best with are unsure about medication—or have tried it before and didn’t get the results they hoped for. You might feel hesitant about starting something new, worried about side effects, or unsure if medication is even the right step for you. Some students come in after a frustrating experience, where a medication didn’t help, caused unwanted effects, or just didn’t feel like a good fit. Others have been trying to manage things on their own but are starting to feel stuck with anxiety, low mood, or ongoing stress. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping you make informed decisions. Medication is always a choice, not an expectation. We take time to understand what’s been going on, what hasn’t worked in the past, and what your options are moving forward. If medication is part of the plan, we approach it carefully and adjust based on how you actually feel—not just a checklist. Alongside medication management, I provide clear education and brief supportive therapy so you understand what’s happening and have practical ways to cope day-to-day. If you’re looking for a balanced, no-pressure approach where your concerns are taken seriously, we’ll likely be a good fit.
