I specialize in supporting young adults as they navigate the many transitions that come with this stage of life—figuring out who they are, where they belong, and how they want to move through the world. Young adulthood can be a time of questioning, unlearning, and redefining yourself, especially after years of being told who you should be, what you should want, or how you should show up. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to helping clients reconnect with their own voice—particularly when that voice has been shaped, silenced, or overshadowed by grief, anxiety, depression, or powerful systems and environments. In a loud, opinionated world, learning to listen to yourself and speak from a place of authenticity can feel daunting. My goal is to help you build trust in your inner voice and feel more confident using it—whether that means setting boundaries, expressing needs, or simply allowing yourself to take up space. I view therapy as a collaborative process, walking alongside you as you explore your identity, emotions, values, and the version of yourself you’re becoming. My approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from art therapy techniques, nervous system regulation, and mindfulness practices to support growth, healing, and self-connection. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and the fact that you’re here exploring different profiles already says a lot about your courage. I’m really glad you found mine. Let’s connect and explore how we can support your healing and wellness together. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation—available in person, by phone, or via Zoom.

Best fit for individuals experiencing stress, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, as well as support with parenting challenges and life transitions. Main treatment models I provide are CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as well as CPT (Cognitive processing therapy) which is a specific type of cognitive behavioral therapy that has been effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD. Together, we can explore solutions and positive growth. A brief therapy model is NOT compatible treatment for crisis, psychiatric emergencies, legal issues, active addictions, severe and persistent mental illness including suicidal or self-injurious behavior, nor those with histories of recent hospitalizations.
I believe that we all find ourselves in stuck places throughout our lives with confusion and overwhelm about where to go and what to do next. It is even more challenging when we are isolated in these places, not knowing who to trust or who will show up for us. This is where counseling comes in as a compassionate space that encourages the person to keep going and to know themselves more deeply in the process. I seek to provide a warm, empathetic, and sometimes directive and educational (education is empowering!) space that integrates evidenced-based modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Attachment, and Somatic/Body-focused therapies. I guide clients in noticing their natural strengths and in believing they have within themselves the ability to persist and grow. It is my belief that Jesus is the ultimate hope, healer, and companion through stuck places in life, but I meet clients where they are at in each session, whether they have no interest in faith or a lot. I value and honor the various cultural and spiritual identities with which a client may enter the room. When I’m not counseling, I like to be outside (think hiking, gardening, beach time), travel to new places with my husband and children, and participate in community at my church. It would be an honor to walk beside you as you keep going forward in life!

Hello, my name is Jessica. I am passionate about helping individuals and families find hope and healing amidst life's challenges. I provide client-centered counseling services, which allows us to focus on how your situation impacts you, as well as use and develop skills and resources to support you in achieving your goals. I graduated from Cornerstone University with my B.S. in Youth Ministry in 2015 and have over 10 years of working with teens and young adults in various capacities. From here, I returned to Cornerstone to finish my M.A. in Counseling. I have a specialization in working with teens, young adults, and their families, but also enjoy working with people of all ages who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief. Hello! I am a mental health therapist (LLC). I offer both in person and virtual mental health therapy appointments. I have a wide range of experiences and am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe that counseling is a collaborative process where clients are able to explore within a safe, affirmative, and compassionate space. By centering on the client’s voice and experience, healing is supported with self-empowerment and compassion. I also recognize that there are connections between the mind and body which can allow for alternative methods of healing to be explored so the best fit can be found for each individual. My current clinical interests include concerns related to sex, sexuality, and gender identity as well as life phase adjustments and relational issues. While interested in learning many psychological techniques, I maintain a framework focused on existential theory and strengths-based practices.
"Going away to college" can be a wonderful and terrifying experience all at the same time: learning how to manage the many details of daily life while figuring out the big picture of who you are and what you want to do. It can also be a time of sorting out family relationships and choosing new paths. It can bring up a lot of anxiety, stress and self-doubt. We have many combined years of helping people through these experiences. If you would like intelligent, warm and useful support in navigating your thoughts and emotions, please give us a call.
My favorite thing in the world is to affirm for someone that their feelings matter. I want you to feel safe expressing all of your thoughts and emotions. There is no problem too big or too small to talk about. No matter the situation, your reactions and feelings are important. I view therapy as a collaborative process. My clients tell me what they need help with, and we work together to figure out what their best course of action is. My job isn’t to tell you what to do and send you away. My job is to listen to you and empower you to take action to improve your life. I work with children, teens, adults, and families. My specialties include mood disorders (anxiety and depression), self-esteem issues, and ADHD. I use an eclectic approach, meaning that I tailor your therapeutic experience to fit your specific needs. I’ll share my insights with you, as well as coping skills for you to try outside of session. I provide a space where you are safe to be open and authentic and can talk about whatever you need. I’m here for you and would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward a stronger, healthier life.
